MONOGATARI

House Rule

“MONOGATARI” is a private members’ club. Please comply with the house rules (including the “Terms and Conditions”) to enjoy the comfort and convenience for our members and their guests.

1. MONOGATARI Member

The “Member” shall mean an individual over 20 years old or a corporation who has completed the admission procedure in accordance with the Terms and Conditions and consented to these House Rules. Types of the Member are as follows:

1. Individual Member An individual over 20 years old who has completed the admission procedure and has been approved as the Member by the committee members.
2. Corporate Member A registered corporation that has completed the admission procedure and has been approved as the Member by the committee members. Only three of its officers or employees may use our services subject to the application by the Corporate Member.

2. Membership Application

Applicants who desire to become the Member are required to submit an application form and pass the screening process.

3. Membership Payment

Applicants approved for the membership are required to pay the admission fees and annual fees as below by the date designated by us. After confirmation of the payment, an email titled “Welcome to MONOGATARI” will be sent to the applicant, and the applicant will be treated as the Member after receipt of it.

Admission fees: 1,100,000 yen (excluding consumption tax) / Annual fees: Free

2. Corporate Member

Admission fees: 1,650,000 yen (excluding consumption tax) / Annual fees: Free

4. Membership Period

Membership will continue as long as the House is in existence. However, only for the duration of the Salon's existence.

5. Guests

Guests (up to 3 persons) accompanied by the Member may also use the house.

6. Non-Business Day, Business Hours

We will be open on the day you make a reservation only.
Opening hours will be decided at the time of reservation.

7. Payment in House

You can use credit cards or certain electronic payment methods for the payment for food and beverages in the house.
Invoices can also be sent at a later date.
(Invoicing will cease after a certain period of time.)

8. Private Parties

Please refer to the separate Banquet and Event Regulations when reserving the Salon for a private function.

9. Dress Code

There is no dress code for use of the salon. However, members should dress in a clean and neat manner with consideration for their surroundings.
Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the Management Office may designate a separate dress code for events, seminars, etc. held at the Salon, and shall notify Members accordingly.

10. Mobile Phone

Please use cell phones in designated areas in the building. Use of cell phones on balconies and outdoors is prohibited as it may cause inconvenience to neighbors.

11. About bringing your own items to the salon

The following items are prohibited from being brought into the salon.
(a) Dogs, cats and other pets. Guide dogs and nursing dogs are excluded.
(b) Food and beverages (however, if an application is made in advance to the House and approved, it may be brought in for a fee).
(c) Ignitable or flammable items.
(d) Items that emit foul odors or harmful poisons.
(e) Knives and other dangerous items.
(f) Other items prohibited by law.

12. Amendments to The House Rules

These House Rules may be changed in accordance with laws and regulations as necessary. Please check periodically gionmonogatari.com for the latest House Rules and Terms and Conditions.
